Ohio Whitetail Bow Hunts
In 2011 we will be hunting two bow weeks in Ohio.
October 31- November 4 Pre-Rut
November 7-11 Rut
All bow hunts will be $1,250. per hunter.
We also have a discount hunt for $750. See below.
You will be given a large area of at least 50 acres to scout, place your own trail cameras, blinds and stands as you see fit. We will be able to assist you on the lay of the land, historical deer movement and our favorite site locations. We will have recent trail cam pictures of deer on your block of land. Alternate sites will be available if necessary. We will be there to assist you once your animal is down. We work as a team and have a lot of fun.

Hunt Details
Lodging and meals will be on your own. There are many great restaurants close to the motel. (See accommodations page) You will be taking your own vehicle to the hunting area (12-15 min drive). You will be free to hunt your own hours.
None of our hunts will have trophy fees. No matter what size buck you shoot the price is the same. There will be no "fine" for smaller bucks but we hope you will shoot at least a 2 1/2 year old buck. We would like each hunter to shoot at least one or more does to help the farmers reduce their crop damage. If you do not want the doe it can be donated, with no butchering cost to you, to FHFH (Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry). We have located an excellent taxidermist and butcher near our area (8 miles) that will process your animal for you.
All Ohio license and hunting information is available at www.ohiodnr.com Ohio hunting license is $125. and a deer tag is $24. which is good for an antlered or antlerless deer. Antlerless tags are $15 each. We are in Zone C which permits you to shoot a total of 6 deer, of which only one can be a buck. Only three antlerless ($15) tags can be used. Additional antlerless tags must be $24 tags.
A recent article on the Ohio DNR website states there were 119,000. whitetail shot in Ohio during the one week shotgun season in 2009. 35,000. were shot on opening day which was a Monday. Compare that to hunting in the Northeast.
Payment: A $300 non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. We will accept personal checks, money orders or certified checks. Balance is due by September 1st of the same year unless you have made other arrangements with us in advance. Balance due payments must be by cashiers check or money order only.
