2010
The first week of our hunt was the last week of October. We had 4 hunters and two tagged out with 7 point bucks. The weather fluctuated from hot to a cold front with tornado warnings then to below freezing. There was a massive crop of acorns. As you can see from our trail cam photos we had a number of good bucks hanging around our hunting properties. Several other nice bucks were spotted but never got within bow range. Sightings of deer in the open fields was below average. Our second week we had one hunter and he saw two bucks fighting his first morning, another buck his second day as well as two more sightings of a shooter buck later in the week. All sightings were within 50 yards but no shot presented itself.

Missouri...Three inches of rain and heavy winds gave us some difficult conditions this year. I would like to commend our hunters for toughing out the conditions and hanging in there.
Aaron shot this 2 1/2 year old 8 pointer through the heart with his Mathews Monster and a 2 blade Rage broadhead at 72 yards. A great shot. This Whitetail was shot in Northern Missouri in 2009. He was after a big 10 pointer, and saw him many times but could never get a shot.
Here is a photo of Aaron's buck take several days before. He has an acorn shaped growth on the end of his left G-2.
There is an incorrect date on the trail camera.
Successful Missouri Hunters in 2009
Mike Schiffer of New York shot this nice 2 1/2 year old 10 pointer with his bow and arrow on our Missouri property in 2009. Mike was half way up his tree when he saw this buck approaching his stand from and bean field close by. Mike managed to pull up his bow and get ready just as the buck moved into shooting range. Job well done Mike.
Randy Thompson of Maine shot this nice 8 pointer in Missouri on November 20th, 2009. It was his best buck ever. Great job Randy.
